Please note that depending on the material being compressed, tablets can expand slightly after being ejected from a tablet press. This can cause the tablet to be up to 100 microns larger than the dimensions of the tooling.

The margin is the distance from the edge of your text or logo to the edge of your tablet. Some of the face profiles limit how close we are able to get the image but if you have an idea of how much of a margin you would like please enter it here.

Do you require the dies to be Carbide lined?

Die taper shape

Please select whether or not you would like your die to be tapered. Adding taper to a die can help minimize capping or damage of your tablets when they are ejected. The increased space at the opening of the die allows air to escape faster and creates a gentler decompression of the tablet during ejection. Single taper is most commonly used in micro tablets or in development of new tablets.

Number of sets

A full set is an upper punch, a lower punch, and a die. Please select how many sets required. We always recommend to get one extra set. E.g. if you have a 41 station tablet press to order 42 sets.
